Chief medical officer of America’s Blood Centers and is the Vice President of Medical and Quality Affairs for New York Blood Center Enterprises, serving the NYBCe divisions of Memorial Blood Center, Nebraska Community Blood Bank and Community Blood Center of Greater Kansas City.  He is currently the co-director of Transfusion Medicine at Hennepin County Medical Center, a level one trauma hospital in Minneapolis, and Children’s Hospitals and Clinics in Minneapolis and St. Paul, MN. In addition, he is the medical director of the New York Blood Center Transfusion Medicine Fellowship Program.
